Abstract Title: The Importance of Contract Administration in the Results of Civil Construction Projects
Biography:
Experience in large civil works, contract administration, project management and preparation of contractual rebalancing studies. Acting in several Arbitrations and Judicial Proceedings as Technical Assistant and Expert for disputes in Infrastructure projects.
Research Interest:
The Civil Construction market has improved management processes and, with the entry of new technologies, budgets are becoming increasingly fair and with no margin for error. Given this scenario, companies need to manage their contracts perfectly, seeking to maintain the economic and financial balance agreed upon when signing the contract. My talk aims to present the best market practices, important processes and routines for carrying out contract administration, as well as examples of how to record possible deviations that may generate additional unforeseen costs. It will be technical content, but presented in a very didactic way that facilitates the understanding of any professional or student who is participating.
